When San Francisco's Hubba Hideout-the spot that all other hubbas are named after-was liberated of its anti-skateboard devices this part fall, the woodwork opened up and people came out to get theirs. For some visitors it was an initial public offering, others came away with only a few it was a changed to handle unfinished business-a trick that'd never been done before on the oversized widow-maker ledge. Mike Carroll was there at Hubba Hideout's first days, and of course he was there for it's reincarnation. And now his frontside feeble will be etched-always and forever-into the scroll of the spot's legendary ABD catalog.
